Standard Spartan® G clamps: applications

Primarily developed for use in metal finishing plants as a G clamp tool.

This G clamp is capable of withstanding the corrosive attack of chemicals used within the metal finishing industry.

Standard Spartan® G clamps: description

Spartan® clamps are moulded in glass-filled Noryl for use in anodising, giving them a maximum usable temperature of 105°C. Or they can be moulded in glass-filled Radel, for use in electro-brightening and painting and at temperatures of up to 220°C.

A tip may be added if required in titanium for anodising (where the tip increases grip and reduces witness marks), zirconium or ceramic for electro-brightening and two-step colour processes. The clamping force is provided by a fine-thread thumb screw.  A coarse ‘fast’  thread version is also available.

A table of G clamp dimensions and weights, including size, mouth opening, mouth depth from the center line of the screw, screw diameter, weight per clamp, and pattern.
