Standard Spartan® G clamps

A photo showing two types of plastic clamps. The one on the left is black and labeled "Noryl." The one on the right is beige and labeled "Radel." Dimensions A, B, and C are indicated on the Noryl clamp.

APPLICATIONS:

Primarily developed for use in metal finishing plants as a G clamp tool.

It is capable of withstanding the corrosive attack of chemicals used within the industry.

DESCRIPTION:

Spartan clamps are moulded in glass-filled Noryl for use in anodising, giving a maximum usable temperature of 105°C, or they can be moulded in glass-filled Radel, for use in electro-brightening and painting and at temperatures up to 220°C.

A tip may be added if required in titanium for anodising (where the tip increases grip and reduces witness marks), zirconium or ceramic for electro-brightening and two-step colour processes. The clamping force is provided by a fine-thread thumb screw.  A coarse ‘fast’  thread version is also available.
